Practicing yoga at home was the focus in February’s workshop led by IYNC teachers Pat McLoughlin and Maria Reyes.
Mr. Iyengar tells us, “Change leads to disappointment if it is not sustained. Transformation is sustained change, and it is achieved through practice.”
The workshop helped guide practitioners to cultivate right habits, thoughts, words and actions that will lead them into doing a home yoga practice that is sustained and fruitful.

Learning to prepare South Indian food is the focus of a cooking class led by Iyengar Yoga of North County student Sailaja Pasupuleti, a native of India. If you haven’t taken one of Sailaja’s classes yet, now is the time! The next class is Sunday, April 22nd at 2:00 p.m. at Sailaja’s Encinitas home, not far from Iyengar Yoga North County. Class cost is $25. The class concludes with everyone sharing the prepared meal together.
