Yoga Therapeutics

“Yoga teaches to cure what need not be endured and endure what cannot be cured.”

~ BKS Iyengar

Yoga is for all, regardless of age or ailment. Iyengar Yoga North County is one of the select few Iyengar Centers in the country to provide an Iyengar Yoga Therapeutics Class. Yoga Therapeutics is for those who require specific guidance in practice in order to address an issue, and/or for those who cannot follow regular classes. Target sequences are offered to help individual needs. Often, there are 3 phases of the Yoga Therapeutics process:

  • Reduce inflammation
  • Recuperation
  • Re-education

Next follows re-entry into your usual practice and regular class, with the empowerment of the knowledge you gained in the therapeutic process. Pre-registration is required. Some cases will require a private session prior to beginning Yoga Therapeutics. Call Carolyn for an appointment at 760-632-0040
